Welcome to a round up of the week. We have leveling rewards info, a look at this year’s Feast of Abundance, and more:
Our latest Doombringer update patch went out Wednesday. In it were a number of fixes and improvements to our game. Notably, we fixed the ability to cancel card targets with ESC and restored the Frost Ring Arena rewards screen. For a full list, you can check out our patch notes here.
Today, we are also sharing some information about our plans for updating our leveling rewards. Join Jared Saramago from the HEX R&D team as he explains how things will rotate and how our level cap will be expanded. Please note that this change is still a ways away, but we wanted to ensure everyone had as much advanced notice as possible so that anyone who wants those top level AA rewards has time to grab them. Full details can be found here.
The Doombringer Collector’s Tier Alternate Arts poll is still underway. We are letting you, our loyal backers, choose the cards you want to see added to the game. Please visit this link and follow the instructions to register your vote. This poll is limited to players with Collector’s Tier accounts and above. It will run for one more week before closing, so don’t delay! Vote today.
R&D has picked out the top 8 themes from among all your submissions. Thanks to everyone who put forward an idea! Now, it is your turn to narrow them down and choose your favorite. The vote will run for two weeks, so be sure to check it out before it ends. And as always, the team will also be discussing the card as you guys design it on our regular dev streams (which run from 2:30 PM – 4:30 PM Pacific Time on Wednesdays). Come join the fun!
The HEX Bash and HEX Clash are back once more! Saturday and Sunday, starting at 8am PT (Timezone Conversion), you have another chance to prove your mettle and walk away with cash and exclusive prizes! Our friends at 80Arcade recently showcased their Shards the Deckbuilder client on stream. Matt Scott and Matt Hyra walked through the client, how games work, and a number of other exciting things that you can look forward to when the Beta goes live. If you missed the action, don’t worry! You can view it all here.
Finally, 80Arcade recently released the card spoiler for Shards Set 1 on their official Discord. In cooperation with the Wardens of Entrath, you can now use TheWarden Bot to look up Shards cards as well. See the 80Arcade announcements channel for full details on how to browse these sweet cards.
