Eaglov has won his spot to play for the $100,000 in prizes at the HEX Invitational.
You just won the HEX IQ and will be going to California to play for the grand prize of $40,000. What went through your mind right after the final game?
My win comes to me after semifinals, because in finals I met Vazrael who already made his IQ win. And in finals we just played for fun. But semi- and quaterfinals was really hard and I was very happy and very tired. But happy a little more. The only thought was “YES!!!”.
What are your thoughts now?
“YES! YES! YES!!!”
What is it that you love about HEX?
HEX gives a lot of free space to use my mind. It’s flexible. It’s fun same time.
What makes you launch the game and battle it out with your fellow HEXers?
My love to win. I’m playing to win every time. Every game.
What does HEX mean to you?
HEX is game number one for me for more than year. I’m in TCGs for more than 16 years. So TCGs became a large part of my life.
If you were to win the HEX Invitational in February, what would you do with the grand prize?
Oh, hardest question. First of all because I have not win yet. But I think a great part of money goes for presents for my girlfriend from US.
Could you tell us a little about the deck that carried you to victory in the HEX IQ?
It was a deck I built for two months. It was started as Cressida beater, then changed to all tier 1 decks beater. The deck is really hard to play, but I had enough of experience with it to win every match on IQ.
Where can people watch you play?
I’m thinking about a Youtube channel. But I’ll do it after the Invitational, I think. I do not want to show all my secrets to other players.
Do you have a message to your fellow HEX IQ winners? Why do they need to be on the lookout for you?
Yes, almost all of them sent grats to me. They need to be on the look for me because I’m going there to realize my long ago dream. And I want one more time to tell thanks to everyone who sent grats to me and everyone who was rooting for me. HEX has a great community. And events like that makes it larger. Special thanks to Russian community. The sharing of the experience is the first step to success for everyone!
