Transition Patch Announcement

Feb 21, 2017

On Wednesday, the servers will be coming offline for maintenance and the installation of a new update.

This patch is part of our transition to become publishers of HEX.

Patch day starts on 2/22 at 12:00 AM PT (Worldclock), when we’ll close registrations for new tournaments. Then, at 1:00 AM PT (Worldclock), we’ll take the servers offline to give our databases a good scrubbing.

The servers will come back online at 12:00 PM PT (Worldclock) if everything goes according to plan.

Occasionally, while giving our servers a once over, we discover the odd Dreadling or two. Maintenance might last a little longer as a result.

Thank you for your patience and understanding!

Here’s the schedule in short-form:

  • 2/22 at 12:00 AM PT – Tournament registrations closed
  • 2/22 at 1:00 AM PT – Servers offline
  • 2/22 at 12:00 PM PT – Servers online (expected)

Please note, as part of this transition patch, a few key things are happening:

  1. When the patch completes, you will need to agree to let Gameforge release your account data. This will allow us to bring your cards and items onto our servers.
  2. Because of German privacy law, parts of your in-game mail will not be transferred. Items attached to your mail will be unaffected, but fields like To/From and the Body of your mails will not transfer over. We recommend backing up important correspondence out of client.
  3. We have new forums!! These forums also use a single sign-on system (so your forum account and in-game account are the same). You will need to log into the HEX client and accept the Gameforge release before you will be able to post on the forums. More details about this change can be found on the forums themselves
  4. The Ardor Day celebration you all have been waiting for has finally arrived! Starting this Friday at 10am PT you can experience Pucid’s holiday attraction.
